Dobršská brána 2020 already knows its program
The unifying element of the fourth year of the festival is this time the instrument “accordion”, namely the accordion and harmonica. We will hear them in various combinations, in free improvisation. There will be a variety of jazz, in all forms and colors, as well as folk songs, compositions composed on the legacy of national folklore and compositions intended directly for those specific performers.
Well-known Czech or foreign musicians and groups will perform in compositions with the historical origin, but also in compositions working with improvisation and national folk songs (eg Finland, France, England, USA, Colombia, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic), space will be given performances improvisation, intonation, and general musical readiness. The music will sound old and completely contemporary, current, arising at the very moment of the performance.
